A new concept of front door:
The Optima programme is the definitive answer to the deficiencies of the current front door systems. The outcome of Grifell Pons’ investigation and development is the design of an innovative, revolutionary system with unbeatable features. We have concentrated our efforts on making difficult building operations easier and we have determined solutions based on aesthetics, strength, versatility and features.
Aesthetics: Optima, a new way of understanding space:
In the same line as the market’s architectural trends, we have searched for harmonic shapes, pleasant and not at all aggressive. In the Optima programme curves and oblique lines have taken the place of straight lines and rough edges. We have designed a system where the ensemble of frame/wing and wing/reverse wing offers elegance and dynamics. Our system is based on the ellipse as a unifying geometrical shape for a new look applied to the front door.
Strength: A priority for security:
A front door must be secure because it is one of the architectural elements that preserves a home’s intimacy or the economic interests of a business. The Optima programme has made this characteristic a priority. For this reason we have designed a robust system with profiles that are over 2mm thick. We have also developed a special chamber that allows a three-point lock and frame counter plate to be integrated in the same profile. In this way we have increased security significantly.
Versatility: Integration, flexibility and constructive power:
The Optima programme is integrated with the rest of the constructive solutions distributed by Grifell Pons. It can be combined with Alfil and Practic overlap wing windows, Nexus 60 sliding windows, and the curtain wall profiles. This group of possibilities allows one to create any kind of structure. We have created a flexible system that is very adequate for complicated closures in homes, businesses, restaurants, hotels, banks, schools, etc.
